UNSW SCANS 15,000 Guests Over...

“The University of New South Wales holds two graduation festivals a year, and at our largest festival we have 5500 students attending bringing over 15,000 guests to 27 separate ceremonies run inside 10 days! We needed a way to ensure that the barcoded tickets we emailed out could be validated to prevent duplication, help us identify if guests had attended the wrong ceremony, and also track how many guests were attending without any kind of prior guest registration (not like a conference!).

Our guest seating is first in best dressed, so our solution had to be something that could get around 700 people through the door and their tickets validated in around 20 minutes . Our ceremonies are staffed by more than 180 different volunteers from around the University and so it also needed to be intuitive enough to be used with less than 5 minutes training. TAME handled all of our requirements without a single problem.

The interface and setup was extremely clean and straightforward and fast, but still provided plenty of flexibility. The team at Track n Trace were absolutely fantastic in the lead up to our event answering any questions we had immediately. I have every confidence that their support at our event would have been similarly excellent, but everything worked exactly as we’d been told it would, and no support was required. The support number programmed into my phone went completely un-dialed.
