Hi Tim,

Thanks for checking in all has been going well.

Retail Team have just completed largest stocktake at our Brisbane site this morning.

Feedback has been really positive, there is some talk of using the receipting PO’s function as well down the track so we may look at another 1 or 2 devices so can keep at least 1 device at other sites.

Thanks so much for sending through latest version of MobileREX.

I’ve finished testing of all scenarios, ie. multiple barcodes, live stocktake, combination of lookup file and live stocktake. Everything passed with absolute flying colours; it is an absolute game changer and covers off all bases that I can see. I was surprised with the live stocktake how fast we could scan the products. If you have wifi access this totally saves the step of having to download/upload the lookup table. In the past if someone added a new product after we had uploaded the lookup table to the device then this product would not be scanned (it take us over a week to get all the stores completed). Thus, with live stocktakes, if a barcode is missing in REX, we can easily add the barcode in REX product management and continue the stocktake, love it.

When exporting the counts, I love it that the file only now contains the product id, this will save a few issues with REX’s excel tool and should make this process super fast….

@ Tim, happy to give this new upgraded app 5 stars. Happy to get on a call with REX and tell them this is a gamechanger for stocktakes, a major pain point for nearly all of their customers…

We hate stock take. Previously it has been a 3 day process and extremely stressful. We had a national stocktake to carry out and were looking for a very efficient way to do this. We found this with the RK25 PDA Android Scanner as well as a customized stocktake application (REX Stocktake App) written by Track n Trace. Hi Tim, Just a quick note to let you know how impressed I am with the RK25s and our new stocktake process. We have done all 4 stores now, and have seen a massive change in the time required to complete these. We were accustomed to closing a store for the day and working with 10 staff working in groups of 2. This would always take us a full day, plus data entry time. When using the RK25 PDAs, our largest store was finished at 3pm including Data transfer and our easiest was complete by 1pm. All where done with the stores still trading. We achieved this with 5 staff (not 10) each armed with an RK25. Not only have there been significant staff cost savings in time and staff numbers, but being able to continue to trade was also a big positive. There is no doubt that we now have our stock under control by using what are the easiest stocktake tools I have ever used. You were also a great help in getting things set up for me (including answering some silly question) which made the whole process so much easier and effective. Thanks for all you help Track n Trace.
